About

Building a successful law practice takes clients—and obtaining new leads that convert to clients can often be a challenge for a lot of lawyers and law firms. This is where lead generation and management comes in—to help track inquiries from prospective clients into qualified future clients. We partnered with FindLaw, a division of Thomson Reuter, to concept and prototype a new user-centric design for a lead generation and management tool for their customers.

Objectives

  • Create a new tool that reflects an understanding of primary user goals and business objectives based

  • Create an intuitive and easy-to-use system that promotes adoption among users new to lead generation tracking

  • Provide a look and feel that is consistent with Thomson Reuters brand

  • Employ a responsive design approach to provide optimal viewing across multiple device types

collaborative sketching methodology

We used a collaborative sketching methodology with the client team. This sketching methodology brings cross-functional teams together to identify, refine, and vet many approaches. Together, we can quickly identify ideas that are working and themes to avoid. Ideas are refined through additional rounds of sketching and critiques—resulting in a selection of ideas and concepts to move forward with.
