The Digital Collaboration team at Ameriprise has embarked on multi-year initiative to offer online meeting scheduling capabilities to clients. The Digital Collaboration team has partnered with other teams within the firm to create a scheduling experience that provides value to advisor and their clients and prospects – and the business as a whole.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The advisor-client relationship is a cornerstone of Ameriprise’s business. Effectively scheduling meetings is nuanced and requires a level of control. Advisors and clients currently use a high-touch, manual process to schedule meetings.
Objectives
Demonstrate the desirability and viability of online meeting scheduling
Provide proof-of-concept that demonstrates vision to help obtain funding
Collaborate with cross-commit teams to define and prioritize scope of features and functionality throughout a multi-phase process
Create an intuitive and easy-to-use scheduling tool that promotes adoption among advisors and their clients and prospects
Gather insights and validate that online meeting scheduling resonates with advisors and clients using various user research methodologies
